Il 22 novembre 1963, giorno in cui viene assassinato il presidente Kennedy, al Parkland Hospital di Dallas si intrecciano le prospettive di agenti dei servizi segreti, poliziotti locali, infermiere, medici e non ultimi Abraham Zapruder - la cui cinepresa a 8mm riprese l'assassinio - la madre e il fratello di Lee Harvey Oswald, tutti catapultati all'improvviso in circostanze straordinarie.
