Kiumars Poorahmad

Regista. Nato nel 1949. Ha svolto diverse attività, tra cui l'insegnante. Da giovane si diverte a fare il critico cinematografico e a scrivere numerose sceneggiature che però non sono state trasformate in film. Diventa parte dello staff dell'Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults e nello stesso tempo scrive critiche cinematografiche, sceneggiature per programmi televisivi per bambini e programmi radio. Gira numerosi film, tra cui "First Session; Second Session" (1976), "He who has felt the light of love will never die" (1997), "The singer" (1978), "In order of height" (1980), "Tatooreh" (1983), "Swallow, my tree" (1984), "Gawyar" (1987), "The harbour" (1988), "Silent hunt" (1989), "Bread & poem" (1993), "Morteza an us" (video-1994), "For the sake of Haniyeh" (1995) e "Strange sisters" (1996).
